Ask some people and they will tell you that they are 'just a nervous person' or that they were 'born that way'. They cope with their worries and anxieties, and try to 'get along' in life. Often with great unhappiness and lack of fulfilment. But they tell themselves 'nothing can really help'.
Nervousness often show up in small ways
And they can prove this to themselves and others. With a busy brain, anxious thought process, and a mind that alertly notes and records all signs of nerves or worry, many 'born worriers' sustain a strong and regularly verified discomfort.
Starting with any negative self-talk, we gently and comfortably help people discover better ways to communicate with themselves. Often an enjoyably humorous approach works more quickly, and is more easily remembered. Then we look at the way that nervous people remember times of distress, and help to free them from the cycle of upset and worry that results. More comfortable feelings follow...
This is a relaxed and enjoyable process, and surprisingly few sessions are required to change the habits of a lifetime, and we often produce profound results within the first session or two. (However, please note that 'more determined, dedicated and practised worriers' may need a little longer!)
However, this is not only undesirable, it is also completely unnecessary.

With modern psychological approaches, and a greater understanding of the structure of nervousness, we can at last make positive changes to way that these sufferers think.
"There is absolutely no need for anyone
to suffer a phobia nowadays......"
