Being in the public glare can trigger performance anxiety. This can also happen as a result of promotion, change of career, new relationship, sudden success, publicity or media attention.
Performance anxiety at work and home
Left untreated, performance anxieties and fears can 'generalise', this is: spread to other areas of your life. This can result in stress, sexual concerns and problems, career and relationship difficulties.
This kind of situation can take people by surprise, especially if they are not used to handling this level of attention. And the law of diminishing results takes effect.
Worried about giving your best performance?
Whilst being in the public eye is seen as desirable (and even essential) by some, for others it can be both disabling and draining. The stress caused by constant concern about your appearance, language and performance can start to have real impact on your sense of self and results. Any criticism can at this stage can badly damage your  confidence. Many people turn to drugs and alcohol to escape these feelings.
For this reason, taking speedy action to resolve these issues is essential. It may be that some gentle coaching is required in how to handle all the attention, or perhaps a  brief therapeutic session or two to restore your normal confidence and sense of well-being in the world. Whatever is needed, we can deliver effective and measurable results
"There is absolutely no need for anyone
to suffer a phobia nowadays......"
